General Policies & Information
Parents, please respect UDS staff’s time and don’t be late to pick up your dancer.
UDS has a no drugs, smoking/vaping, or alcohol policy - any capacity of continuation for the season at UDS will be at the sole discretion of the owner/director based on the severity with of the circumstance.
All accounts must be on autopay - checks and cash will not be accepted.
Payments received after the 5th of the month will be charged a 10% late fee.
If payment is not received by the 15th of the month, your child will be unable to participate in class until your account is current with no past due balance.
All payments are non-refundable. Tuition is not reduced due to absences, illness, injury, inclement weather, holidays, nor any other circumstance.
If there is inclement weather, please check the homepage of our website or your Dance Studio-Pro account for class cancellations. Everyone will also be notified via email if classes are cancelled.
Youth dancers are allowed 5 makeup classes per semester. Please email UDS to let us know! Dancers can take down a level down or the same level in any style.
Only students and staff are allowed in the dance studios. Classes may be watched through the observation windows, but please do not attempt to distract the dancers nor get their attention. Also, if you see that the teacher is having a difficult time keeping the dancers’ attention, please minimize your peaks into the studio.
Our classes with recital dances require a commitment from February 1st through the recital in mid June. If you choose to withdraw from classes, you must do so in writing via email; we will not accept withdrawal notifications via phone call. If you withdraw after March 15th, you will be charged a withdrawal fee equivalent to one-month’s tuition on the date of your withdrawal.
All classes are subject to sufficient enrollment. If a class has fewer than 3 students, the class will be shortened by 15 minutes that day.
